Along the years, ASP has been asked by public and private institutions, located both in Spain and elsewhere, to work on a number of reports on a variety of policy issues, such as the reform of the pension system, the effects of economic policy, employment policy, education and others, as well as on matters of corporate governance and the development of the third sector, or civil society in a restricted sense of the term.

ASP director has been and is a member of several advisory committees, of public and private organizations, both in Spain and elsewhere (see vita).

Moreover, ASP provides research training for graduate students in their different research projects.
