Ferdinando Casini, President of the Italian Chamber of
Deputies. The book is an up-to-date version of Spain at
the Crossroads: Civil Society, Politics and the Rule of
Law
(Harvard University Press, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1999, 214 pages)
with the addition of a 86-pages essay on "Spain's end of the century"
as a last chapter.
